On a train to Dresden

This morning I am on a train to Dresden and it's like a train to parts of my past in the GDR - from Frankfurt through Fulda - where the German Protestant Kirchentag has its headquarters - and then into the East with Eisenach, Erfurt, Leipzig and then Dresden. So many friends I could visit, so many memories in each place but not quite enough time to stop off and enjoy some of my favourite cities ...
Just over 19 years ago we began our honeymoon by arriving by train in Dresden and ended it leaving on a train from Erfurt.
So now to the real work of the day which is to prepare a short presentation on the structures and vision of the WCC in German for the international committee of the Kirchentag.
