When archbishops call some speculation on the stock exchanges "bank robbery" you know things are serious.
The UN discusses the Millenium Development Goals - but who cares about the poorest when the psychotically fearful global market is in a tailspin?
Everyone feels helpless and suddenly people talk about how maybe regulation might be a good idea ... and I am so frustrated that we have to wait and watch what happens in the US, whose ridiculous sub-prime deregulation has given us this crisis.
I would try to rant properly but really I'm just speechless ...
