Thin places from Sharlande Sledge

Sharlande Sledge on thin places:

‘Thin places’ the Celts call this space
Both seen and unseen,
Where the door between this world
And the next is cracked open for a moment
And the light is not all on the other side.
God shaped space. Holy

i have long been fascinated by this definition of 'thin place' which is used widely in celtic stuff (Iona, Lindisfarne etc). Whilst I can see what they're getting at I want to say that any place can be a thin place - and also of course do something to define fat places! I'm looking for an opeing for a small hut on a roundabout by the M62 - this would be potentially both thin and fat.
